Pagadian is a small City and is the capital of region nine.
The name Pagadian is derived from the name Pangadi-an meaning to PRAY. Pagadian, because of its name was hailed as the land of prayer.
The Apparition of Our Lady to a seven year old Jeffrey in 1987 is a wake up call for all the people of this City to bring back the Spirit of Prayer in their homes. The story begins in the Year 1986
When Jeffrey was 6 yrs. old, Jeffrey wrote in his diary, that after the dawn rosary he stayed at their front yard garden playing the swing (duyan) while singing a Marian song he learned from the dawn Rosary procession, when all of a sudden a cool breez cought his attention and he looked up, seeing from the clouds a certain form of a white person floating toward him he run inside the house. The next day, he sat at the second floor balcony of his grand parents house looking at the vast view of Balangasan, when the same event took place. again he run downstairs and try to hide from that mysterious being.
On September 29, 1986 While playing the hide and seek with friends, he experience a time suspension and could not see a thing but light, and in that light came out a 12-15 year old kid who introduced himself as the Angel of peace, and ask Jeffrey to learn praying the rosary, for Our Lady and Jesus is pleased of his supplication.
After saying this the angel left him. His playmates wonders what happened cause he walked in their midst pale, and went inside the house then faint.
His mother and grandfather was his companions in the dawn rosary, but Jeffrey is always with his mother when they went to church every day. " TO BE CONTINUED"
